Experience

With over 35 years of real estate, litigation, civil practice and probate experience, Attorney Edward W. Valanzola puts his expertise and professional relationships to work for his clients. After 25 years of practicing Law in the heart of Boston, dealing with matters related to Real Estate, Commercial Leasing and Shopping Center development, Attorney Valanzola moved to Southeastern Massachusetts, where he now enjoys well-established, mutually respectful relationships with many of the area’s local officials and business owners. His clientele includes both national and international companies: national ‘big box’ retail firms and development companies, smaller retail businesses, independent developers, corporations, and companies and individuals in need of aggressive litigators. He has been the legal advisor for major retail and commercial real estate ventures as well as residential projects. He also represents individuals in personal injury actions and provides estate planning advice, including probate of estates. Attorney Valanzola has tried and argued cases in all Massachusetts courts, including the Superior Court, the Court of Appeals, the Land Court and District Court. He has considerable experience outside of Massachusetts, participating in trials in Federal and State courts in New York, Pennsylvania, Florida, South Carolina, North Carolina, Kansas, Indiana, Vermont and Maine. He has also represented clients before municipal and state boards in a number of states. He cultivates a hands-on approach that puts the client first.
